Uluwatu temple is located in the village of Pecatu, District Kuta, Badung regency, or about 30 km from Denpasar City. Uluwatu temple cliff above occupy land that has a height of about 70 m above sea level. In front of the temple there is a small forest that serves as a buffer to the sanctity of temples and dwellings dozens of monkeys. Uluwatu temple is also famous because right below it is the beach Pecatu which is often used as a place of international events such as sports surfing.
